Fruity Power Bars - Thermomix Recipes from Steph

Fruity Power Bars

This recipe is mine from my Gogetter’s talk…  it has been “lost” for a while in the archives of my mind lol and was brought back to my attention by one of the gorgeous consultants in my team… thanks Janita!!!!!

I love this recipe and often substitute the puffed wheat for rice bubbles!

50g natural almonds

50g raw cashews

150g pitted dates

50g raisins

60g natural puffed wheat

30g flaked coconut

70g sesame seeds

120g honey

Place almonds and cashews in TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds on speed 7 and set aside.

Place dates in TM bowl and chop for 8 seconds on speed 7.

Return chopped nuts to TM bowl and add remaining dry ingredients. Mix together for 4 seconds

on REVERSE + speed 4.

Add honey and mix for 7 seconds on speed 3 or until well combined.

Press mixture into slice pan and refrigerate for 2 hours until firm

This was a real hit! I love the simplicity and taste. It even past my fassiest eater! That was a relief. Can’t believe it’s so healthy and so yummy. Thanks for sharing

glad you love it.. we too love it… unfortunately it can no longer go in our lunch boxes due to nut free policy at our school… but makes a great after school snack xoxo

Whenever I see a recipe that has nuts that I want to be able to pack into lunch boxes, I sub out the nuts and add seeds instead – sunflower seeds and pepitas work best I think. They just might not need quite as much grinding :)
