Focaccia – Gluten free

Ingredients – wet

• 2 Egg Whites

• 25g Vegetable Oil

• ½ Tsp Vinegar

• 150g Warm Water

Ingredients – dry

• 230g Dellicate Bread Mix

• 1 Tblsp Fava Flour

• 25g Full Cream Powdered Milk

• ¾ Tsp Seasoning (dried herbs or dukkah)

• ½ Tsp Salt

• 7-8 gm Sachet Yeast

Method

Add wet ingredients to the TM, and then add dry ingredients. Mix on speed 7 for 10 seconds

Knead for 25 seconds.

Remove mixture from TM onto a prepared baking tray with baking paper.

Smooth out to approximately 2cm thickness (circle, rectangle, oval shape)

Prove for 10mins and bake at 210°C for 30 mins.

Focaccia Pizza

Follow above method.

Bake for 10 minutes, remove from oven, add toppings and complete cooking for 20 minutes.

Fava Bean Flour is perfect for all kinds of baking including breads, pizza, cakes, and cookies. Can be use in place of rice flour in any of your favourite recipes. Bean flours provide protein for superb gluten- free baking.

You can replace Fava flour with a mixture of equal fava, millet and sorghum flours to increase the nutritional profile.
