Cauliflower Salad

 Ingredients

• 1 Cauliflower – washed & broken into florets

• 4 Spring onions

• Mint, Coriander, Parsley to taste

• 1 Red pepper de-seeded and cut into 8

• 50g of Sesame seeds

• 100g Hazelnuts

• 1 Tblsp Agave syrup

• 1 Tblsp Oil

• 1 Tblsp Braggs

• 100g Sultanas

Method

Add all ingredients except sultanas to TM Bowl and chop speed 4 to 5 for 5 seconds. Add sultanas and incorporate, reverse, speed 3 for 4 seconds.

Note: you can chop spring onions with a knife diagonally if you prefer for presentation.

    Thanks for your question, I beklieve this recipe has been converted from a raw/vegan cookbook.

    Braggs is not readily available but some very good health store will carry it. Braggs is made purely from soybean and water – however a compareable product readily available would be soy sauce or tamari.

    Agave syrup (Also known as Agave Nectar is a natural sweetener – available again from health food stores) It comes from a cactus plant and is low in GI, alternatives for agave would be honey and corn syrup) I am quite sure this recipe would be fine with honey and soy or tamari.

    Can’t wait to try this recipe in my new TM31 and thanks for the ingredient substitution hints – I live in a small country town, where Agave nectar and Braggs would be as scarce as highrise buildings!!
