Bircher Muesli

• 150grams of oats

• 40 grams raisins

• 400grams milk

• 50 grams almonds

• 50grams hazelnuts

• 1 large red apple

• 1 pear

• 100grams cream

• 1 banana, nectarine, strawberries,peach, ½ cup grapes – all optional

• Honey

• yoghurt


Soak oats and raisins in milk overnight in the fridge. Add 2/3rds of the nuts to the TM Bowl and grind on speed 8 for 3 seconds. Add the balance of nuts and pulse twice for a chunky texture. Add to the oat mixture.

Add the apple and pear cut into quarters to TM Bowl and grate, speed 5 for 2 seconds and add to mixture.

Stir through cream, chopped banana and grapes if using and decorate the top with slices of nectarine and peach or nectarine and strawberries. When in season Passionfruit is great drizzled on top. Drizzle with honey and serve. Plain yoghurt is a good accompaniment.

    my girlfirned made something similar to this for me last night and i just had it for moring tea- amazing! totally want a thermomix for myself now :O)
